Our Mission

To provide facilities and opportunities for recreational activities, as well as to support and nurture growth in the Black Hills.

Our Vision

The Southern Hills Community Recreation Initiative (SHRec) pledges to invest in our community’s growth by creating the premier recreation center in the region.

The center will provide sport and fitness facilities, along with wellness education programs for use by all generations.

These programs will enhance the quality of life to promote the revitalization of the community with respect to our historical roots of health and wellness.
